The Coin Circular in shape was released 1982 by the Republic
of India for awareness towards Integrated India, minted in Copper Nickel with raised
rims on both faces with reeded edges, UNC weighed 5 grams and 24 mm in Diameter
Legend
:
Front Face Ashoka Lion Capital above the value, Left upper
"BHARAT" in Hindi and "INDIA" on the right upper edge right
of the Lion Capital. Supported by "PAISEY" in Hindi on the left lower
edge and "PAISE" in English on the right lower edge, all standing
atop the Numerical value “50”, all
in arched form near the rim
Back Face : Map of Indian Sub Continent with “RASHTRIYA EKTA” on top right of
the Map and “NATIONAL INTEGRATION” on right bottom of the Indian Map. The Map
standing atop the date of release 1982 with mint markings.
